Bird 2

I saw a blue and gold macaw today and it was beautiful. It was about 2 ft. tall about the height of a cabinet and they have a wingspan of 45 inches. Its back and upper tail is covered with brilliant blue feathers while the underside of the tail is yellow. The forehead is green  and the wing feathers are blue with green tips and the underwings are a pretty orangish yellow color. Their eyes are yellow and its legs are gray. Their diet consists of fruit, vegetable matter, seeds, nuts, leaves, and bark. Occasionally they will feed on small animal matter. While mating the female will lay one or two eggs and incubate them for 24-26 days while the male feeds her. When the chicks first hatch they are blind and have no feathers. Blue and gold macaws are prized for their beauty and peronality and they make excellent pets. Knowing this I think I'm going to catch one so I can keep him as a pet.
